Graphic Design
It all begins with an idea. My graphic design work covers multiple different niches in the design world like illustration, web design, brand identity, and marketing. I gained my first job experience with graphic design at Principia College creating posters and flyers for social events, music productions, sports posters, and logos for various departments on campus. Now I have started my own freelancing service where I help businesses and individuals who need graphic design work done on their websites, business reports, layout designs, packaging, logos, social media marketing, and more.
Oil Paintings
My paintings are partly a journey through my emotions and imagination of my mind to my passion for landscapes and nature. My art is a representation of land and seascape compositions as well as abstractions of reality. I am exploring the world of my dreams and the expression of self with memories and influence of the Big Sur coastline and Carmel, CA where I grew up. When painting from my memories or dreams I try to evoke the emotions I felt being in the natural landscape through abstraction of colors and shapes, that at times, I intentionally want the viewer to get lost which in turn evokes their own emotions and ideas.
